110 pounds lighter...between the three of us...

We went down to Falls Creek about two weekends ago for a youth retreat and I volunteered to help with the food, which was a first for me!! My friend Jessica and I did the planning and cooking together, it was actually a lot of fun!! Anyhow here are a few pics from our time down there.

Cool story about the three of us, last time we were down at Falls Creek we were 110 pounds heavier, that was last July 2009, so this was a cool time to see the progress of our Journey. These girls have been working so hard and next sunday we run our RACE!!!!
Until it becomes freedom....

ZOO DAY!!

We went to the Zoo the other day and it was sooo nice!! The weather was perfect and it was Kimberlin's first time to go (well she has been before but she was asleep most of the time.) She got so excited when the animals would move it was so fun!!! I am so behind on blogging so I will be posting some older things and they will be out of order, but I will get caught up!!

"What is going on here mom??"

Summer's due date was originally the 13th of July so we took this shot!

I refuse to get a double stroller, so Belle just walks beside me, or rides on the front!! LOL

"Eye in her"

Something happens when you have kids, your children pick up quotes or specific things you say often and mimic them. This particular instance the girls were playing outside and I had to get something by the back door so I told Belle "be nice to your sister and watch her" then she responded with "don't worry mom I will keep an eye in her!" Although her quote from me was a little off (which also happens after you have kids) she got the main gist of it correct. I realized when I am leaving a room I always ask Jon, or whoever happens to be in the room, "hey can you keep an eye on her?" Isabelle will now tell me (usually when her and her sister want to get into something they know is off limits) Mom go in the kitchen or your room and I will keep an eye in her....funny. The question though is this, if she picked up something so small and simple as that, what else is she picking up?
Am I mirroring
Love
Patience
Kindness
Sincerity
Loyalty
Truthfulness
Integrity....
The qualities I want my daughters to have??
She is always watching, am I always teaching??

My kids make laugh....

Sometimes when Isabelle does something I just shake my head and think that is a little weird...but I am OK with it. She walks to her own beat a little bit and I admire that about her (most of the time) , this particular day she was telling me that she made a bed for all of the little babies and this is what it turned out to be:They each had one of her undershirts (well one got tights:) to cover them up, plus what you cannot see is that she had picked each of them out a pair of her little panties to cover them up too. The cute part was when she was praying with them all before bed and had to go in the circle to kiss them all:)

My kids make me laugh :)
