End of Summer...

Shorter days have already started creeping up on us with dark skies getting earlier and earlier. There were so many days that I sat outside while Kimber swang in her swing, and Belle ran around exporling the world God has created for us to enjoy. This trampoline was a lifesaver because before Kimber could roll I would just chill up there while Belle played. Yesterday we were out playing and i decided to catch a few "end of summer" photos.

My Crazy Girls!

So my friend Heather (who also has two girls about the same distance apart in age) told me that I would be surprised by how much the girls would play together, even though Kimber is younger. I must say that she was right (again, like many other times in my life:-) anyway I came

out from my bedroom from folding laundry and this is what I found....the girls both sitting in the exersaucer! They were wedged in there together, but they were laughing and smiling so much :-)

OSU Game!

My father-in-law gave us his tickets to the Oklahoma State game and so all we needed was a babysitter....Summer to the rescue. (thanks btw) anyway we had a blast it was an hour drive there and back so we had like six hours of "kid-free time" it was so awesome! We won the game too!!!! Go Pokes! Oh yeah, in the pictures with Jon's eyes closed---we laugh bc Jon CANNOT keep his eyes open if it involves a flash...LOL. I had to post them because we tried like fifty pictures to get his eyes open. Oh well babe.

Sweet Dreams:-)

Isabelle found my sleeping mask (which I have gotten in the habbit of wearing to sleep in because Jon has taken up late night reading) anyway she said she wanted to wear it to take her nap in, I said ok and didn't think that she would keep it on, but she did. I snuck in and got a few shots!! :-)

New Milestone!

Kimberlin loves to play in all of her toys that help her see things better! I didn't even realize this until the other day when I walked by and i noticed her little feet were finally touching the bottom. This is significant because when I first put her in it she wasn't even close to touching.

Uncle Paul aka the family whisperer!

Our best friend from Cali, who is now living in Fort Worth, Texas, came to see us last weekend. Isabelle loves her uncle Paul and calls him often to talk about her day. Thanks for coming to visit Paulo!

Look Alikes

The first two pics that are in black and white are of Isabelle at exactly the same age as Kimber...their coloring is quite a bit different but they still look a lot alike.

Goodbye Franklin :-(

This is a sad post to be making but our little dog Franklin died last week. We had Franklin ever since we had been married for three months so just shy of seven years. He was a great dog and although he had a tough time adjusting after we had kids...he was a great dog.

My friend Kathryn

Kathryn goes to our church and she has become a great friend to us. My girls love her and she does sooo much to help me out (including watching my kids while jon and I run) I am very thankful that God has brought her into my life. Thanks for loving us Kat!

Fun times, or big sissy torture...I'm not sure

The girls and I were working in Kimberlin's room on switching out her infant clothes to 3-6 month outfits. I had gone into the kitchen to start on lunch and Isabelle comes pushing Kimberlin around the corner and said "look mommy I gave sissy a bunch of toys and put a hat on her!" They were both smiling so i guess they were happy:-)

She has figured it out...well sort of

I guess I started this a long time ago, but when I would do my makeup before going anywhere I would let Belle sit up on the counter with me and she'd mainly play with my blush brush. Well fast forward to now and she can open all of my makeup, twisting lids off and unscrewing mascara...well the pictures speak for themselves. Let's just say i didn't realize how good (or bad) she had gotten! ;-)
